Senator Pearson introduced Senate Joint Resolution 6 to designate April 26 of each year as ‘‘Shared Parenting Day’’ in Wyoming, saying the measure ‘‘sends a powerful message’’ that the state values relationships between children and both parents. He described the resolution as a symbolic recognition intended to promote cooperative parenting and stronger families.
