The Ishpeming City Council on June 17 voted to award the Brasswire Campground solar array project to Peninsula Solar after receiving a single responsive bid of about $124,900 that included a $25,000 estimated UPCO drop. Staff said a revised conduit route could shorten the run and likely reduce the UPCO estimate, but they warned that UPCO's final charge remains uncertain.
