Rapho supervisors approve permits, event request and $50,000 transfer; multiple routine motions pass unanimously

The Rapho Township Board of Supervisors on June 4 approved a bundle of routine requests and fiscal items in unanimous votes.
Time extension for land‑development recording: The board granted EKR Properties, LLC (Stable Hollow Construction) an extension until Sept. 3, 2026 to record Land Development Plan RT# 25‑485 while the applicant awaits a response from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection on an NPDES permit resubmission. Supervisor Mark Erb moved the extension; Supervisor Randy Fox seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
Waiver for well isolation distance: The board approved a Well Isolation Distance Waiver for Wayne and Susie Achey at 1740 N. Colebrook Road, conditioned on recording an Indemnification Agreement and placing an easement on the vacant lot intended for the septic system. Supervisor Randy Fox moved approval; Supervisor Mark Erb seconded and the motion carried unanimously.
Event and fireworks permits: The board approved the Lancaster Bicycle Club’s request to allow the 2026 Covered Bridge Classic to pass through Rapho Township on Sunday, Aug. 16, conditioned on the Township receiving a Certificate of Insurance. The board also approved a fireworks permit for Tim Good for a show at 706 Milton Grove Road on Friday, June 26, 2026, between 9:30 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. Motions were moved and seconded by supervisors as recorded and passed unanimously.
Fiscal and administrative items: The Zoning Officer’s May 2026 report was accepted. The board approved a transfer of $50,000 from the General Fund to the Capital Reserve Fund and approved the disbursement list and payment of bills on a motion by Supervisor Mark Erb and seconded by Supervisor Randy Fox; the motion passed unanimously. The Tax Collector’s May 2026 Report and the Earned Income Tax Collections May 2026 Report were distributed and reviewed. The board also acknowledged receipt of the Manheim Community Library June 2026 report.
With no further public business, the meeting adjourned at 7:23 p.m.
