Health screenings, wrestling event and facility issues noted at Saint Paul Civic Center
Gym/Civic Center staff reported routine rentals, a July 19 wrestling event with liability insurance, a request from the health department for monthly free screenings, and parking and restroom water‑pressure concerns that staff will address before the event.

Alyssa Hall reported to the council that the gym had nine rentals and the civic center had one rental in May. Hall said the county health department asked to rent the civic center monthly — first Thursday, 1–2 p.m. — to provide free health screenings, and staff is considering the request.
