Planning Board re-approves Rivera subdivision and notes demolition permit request

The Mount Kisco Planning Board voted Sept. 10 to grant re-approval for the subdivision and site plan for 40 and 42 Kiscona Road (Rosemar Development, LLC), after the applicant responded to comments from the Westchester County Planning Board.
Village Planner Jan K. Johannessen told the board the county’s comments had been addressed and the applicant’s responses were acceptable. The board recorded that no site work is permitted until the necessary permits are issued and that demolition of unsafe structures may proceed only at the Building Inspector’s discretion.
Property owner Frank Rivera formally requested a demolition permit during the continued public hearing; there were no public comments. Co-Chair Michael McGuirk moved to close the hearing and then moved to grant the resolution with additional conditions. The motions were seconded by W. Robert Phillips and carried by a vote of 6–0. The six affirmative votes were cast by Crystal Pickard, Michael McGuirk, W. Robert Phillips, Michael Bonforte, Barbara Roppolo and Maggie Downey.
The board’s action re-approves the project subject to the additional conditions recorded in the resolution; staff will manage permit issuance and verify compliance with conditions before site work may begin.
