Division briefs board on Mine Subsidence Protection Program audit response and next steps
Division staff updated the board on progress implementing Office of State Auditor recommendations for the Mine Subsidence Protection Program, including an OSM confirmation of program governance, work on standard operating procedures with a contractor, an RFP to lower enrollment inspection costs, and a status report scheduled for the Legislative Audit Committee Aug. 10, 2026.
