First hearing set for Ditch Improvement 2154 after county presentation

Lincoln said the matter will proceed to a first hearing on Feb. 19, 2026, at 9:15 a.m. in the Fulton County Commissioners Board Room at 152 S. Fulton St., Wauseon.
The first hearing will offer an opportunity for property owners and interested residents to review the engineering materials and submit testimony or objections as provided by Ohio ditch-improvement procedures. The presentation included maps and aerial imagery to show the existing outlet and lateral alignments; the record supplied to the commissioners indicates the hearing is the next formal step in the county’s docketing of Ditch Improvement 2154.
No formal vote on the ditch improvement occurred at the Jan. 20 session; the hearing date and time were announced to allow stakeholders time to review project materials and prepare for the February session. Additional documents and engineering plans are on file with the Fulton County Commissioners’ office.
