Gay council accepts financial documents, declines parade participation and schedules sign work session
The council accepted revised-format financial documents tied to an audit response, decided not to participate in the Woodbury Christmas Parade, and scheduled a Dec. 9 work session at 6:00 p.m. on sign permitting.

During the Nov. 11 Town of Gay meeting, the clerk explained the General Report appears in a slightly different format to address an item from the town's audit response to the Georgia Department of Audits and Accounts. Council member Askvig moved to accept the financial documents; Council member Keith seconded and the vote was unanimous.
