Hamilton updates: water tower work, square lighting and next meeting location
Water/sewer staff said tower 1 is complete and work is underway on tower 2; maintenance resolved a lighting issue on the square and arranged servicing of Christmas lights; the council announced the Jan. 8 meeting will be at the Volunteer Fire Station and thanked Mayor Ransom Farley for his service.

City staff provided routine operations updates at the Dec. 11 meeting. Ben Hood reported that the water-tower renovation work at the shop has finished for tower 1 and that work is under way on tower 2. Maintenance supervisor Terrence Mahone said a lighting problem on the square was resolved and that Christmas lights and plugs have been serviced for next year.
