Town Attorney Charlie Barrow provided updates on the River Drive District at the Oct. 17 Planning & Zoning meeting, saying work on the district is underway and under legal review.
Commission Chair Jan Yarbrough told members a Master Sidewalk Plan will be a topic for future meetings. During the audience portion, Council Member Ed Drohan raised questions about ADA sidewalk sizes, and Mayor Beth Goette suggested commissioners undertake additional online research to clarify dimensions and standards.
Commissioners did not adopt a sidewalk plan at the meeting; the matter was identified for future study and scheduling.
