The City of Forks City Council voted to adopt Ordinance No. 689, the 2025–2045 Comprehensive Plan Update, after rejecting a motion to postpone; consultants said delaying adoption could jeopardize a Recreational and Conservation Office (RCO) grant for Tillicum Park improvements.

The City of Forks City Council adopted the 2025–2045 Comprehensive Plan Update (Ordinance No. 689) during its June 8, 2026 regular meeting. Councilmember Gingell moved to adopt the Update, Councilmember Soha seconded the motion, and the motion carried.
