Tree Allies finalizes parade float plan, orders shirts and signage

Tree Allies President Mallory Abel led the group on Aug. 13 in finalizing plans for the organization’s parade float and related outreach materials. Members agreed to use live trees on the float rather than artificial trees, and to distribute handouts with QR codes for adults provided by Heidi. Mallory said she will design a vinyl sign featuring the organization logo and a QR code and will circulate an ordering link for shirts.
Shirts will be available in dark green with the Tree Allies logo; the minutes list short-sleeve shirts at $20.35 and long-sleeve shirts at $24.35. Members will pay for their own shirts. The order deadline recorded in the minutes is Aug. 20; Mallory is responsible for sending the order link to the membership.
Logistics discussed for the float include measuring the distance from the front of the trailer to the front of the tire (Tim Lambard to provide measurements) and checking signage costs with a Brownsburg sign vendor. For purchases related to the float, members were instructed to send links to Mallory or to contact Larry Bieter to access the organization credit card.
