Tony Ross of Astro Metalcraft introduced himself during Open Forum and said he had spoken with Three Rivers Park District about a bike trail. Ross asked whether the city would assist in pursuing a trail on the south end of Crow Hassan Park; the minutes record the inquiry but no formal commitment or follow‑up motion.
The board considered an option to place banners on light poles along County Road 19. Clerk Jenny Peterson presented the banner design and locations; board members discussed placement, design and holiday lighting and expressed support for the idea as a way to advertise local events and neighborhood identity.
Under New Business the board discussed finishing touches for the Eggstravaganza egg hunt scheduled for April 12, 2025, including operational details staff will finalize. Peterson also asked whether the board would like to purchase Hanover logo gear for use at events; attendees indicated support for buying gear if the City Council approves the expenditure.
Council Liaison Jim Zajicek provided an update on a property on the Hennepin County side of Hanover; the minutes do not record formal action tied to that update. The meeting concluded with a motion by Chair Brandhorst to adjourn at 8:10 p.m., seconded by Rupenthal; the motion carried unanimously.
