Staff reports PUC prehearing schedule in ongoing electrical docket; city filed information request to Excel

City staff updated the council on an administrative proceeding before the state Public Utilities Commission (PUC) concerning an electrical case. The staff speaker said an administrative law judge issued a prehearing order that sets a prehearing conference on June 25 and schedules direct testimony and information-request deadlines that extend into 2026; an ALJ report is due May 11, 2026 and will go to the full PUC for exceptions and final decision.
