During closing remarks at the June 23 Committee of the Whole, a council member reported that the Redevelopment Authority solicitor and the city solicitor are finalizing an adaptation of an agreement that will allow the RDA to hire a third‑party codes company; related changes will appear on the Thursday agenda. The same speaker said a late agenda addition will recommend a consultant to lead the Home Rule effort; staff are finalizing not‑to‑exceed amounts before publishing the packet.
