Before the budget discussion, council members and residents reviewed options for temporary trash/dumpster service. Participants compared several vendors: Belman (cheaper rates but will not deliver on Saturday), Renewable Waste Management and Republic (require web forms instead of phone service), and Ace Disposal (can deliver Saturday morning and pick up Monday for a delivery fee quoted at $125 and $225 to haul, plus $60 per ton to dump). A local hauler and Larry Marshall were also mentioned as alternatives.
