Stanhope council opts to modernize code; MIDAS to apply model ordinance language
Council voted to have MIDAS review Stanhope’s ordinance book, remove illegal or unenforceable provisions and codify the city code using model language.

Mayor Kelly Wirtz recommended that MIDAS use model ordinance language to update and codify Stanhope’s municipal code, removing any provisions that are illegal or no longer enforceable. Council member Kempton Young moved to engage MIDAS for that work, and Council member Mindy Hetland seconded; the motion carried.
