Council pledges up to $130,000 to support community land trust application

City Planner Lassonde told the Council that Southwest Minnesota Housing Partnership had presented at a recent work session and that staff recommended committing up to $130,000 in city-designated funds to support a community land trust application. Council Member Peterson asked whether Nicollet County had committed funds; Lassonde said the County would consider the proposal at its next meeting. The Council adopted Res. No. 62-26 recognizing that the project will meet and identify housing need and committing City support as described.
