Trustees keep current printing policy after reconsideration request from resident

Kathleen O’Donoghue presented public comment and handed Chair Marla Robinson an email outlining her concerns about the level of staff assistance for printing services and the policy’s effect on patrons. Trustees reviewed the rationales discussed at a prior meeting and agreed to keep the current policy in place to allow additional time to evaluate how it functions for all patrons.
The board did not vote to change the policy at the meeting; trustees directed that the policy remain active while staff and trustees monitor its impact and gather further information. No follow-up timeline was specified in the minutes.
