The Crown Point Community School Corporation board voted to place an operating referendum on the Nov. 3, 2026 ballot asking voters to authorize a maximum 38.7-cent tax rate to replace lost property-tax revenue and support staff, safety, transportation and academic programs.

The Crown Point Community School Corporation board on June 22 approved Resolution 876 to begin the process of placing an operating referendum on the Nov. 3, 2026 ballot that would allow the district to collect up to 38.7 cents per $100 of assessed value.
