At its May 20 meeting the City of Decatur Common Council adopted Resolution 2025-4 honoring Public Works employee Joe Avalos on his retirement and approved Resolution 2025-5 to add appropriations for an aerial firetruck. The council also recorded oaths, approved event permits and continued a tax abatement.
