Contractor updates board on district construction, board tours project

Gary Lovitz of InGensa and Jackie Coleman presented an update on the district’s construction project and led a follow-up tour of the work for board members and staff.

Superintendent Scott Vedbraaten told the board the project has prompted related site work including a change to the building plan tied to sewer work, demolition of the tennis courts, preparation of the pool, and progress on the gym project. Vedbraaten also noted that Door 13 will serve as the main summer entrance and that the district located a time capsule behind the 1913 cornerstone.
