The Laurel City Council on June 23 approved resolution R-26-33, authorizing the mayor to execute a task order with Morrison Maierle for on-call engineering services, and approved five separate resolutions authorizing interlocal fire-service agreements. Councilmember Naylor recused from the fire-agreement votes because they are a member of the fire department and would receive general-fund transfers.
