Covington Redevelopment Commission accepts gift of Community Center corner, plans bidding process
At its annual meeting the Covington Redevelopment Commission voted to accept a gift of the northeast corner of the Community Center from the city (per Resolution 2024-5) and announced it will solicit bids; the RDC scheduled an Oct. 28 meeting to read bids.

The Covington Redevelopment Commission at its Sept. 23 annual meeting voted to accept a gift from the City Council of the northeast corner of the Covington Community Center, acting under Resolution 2024-5. RDC President Brad Smith said the council had agreed to the gift and the commission must accept it before soliciting bids.
