At the Chilton County work session, a public commenter addressed the commission seeking $1,000 for a Juneteenth parade and said he had submitted the organization's 501(c)(3) paperwork for the commission’s consideration. Commissioners told him to complete the proper budget paperwork and noted that any funding would need to be placed in next fiscal year’s budget.
