On Feb. 11, 2026 the Sandstone Planning Commission voted 5-0 to recommend the City Council vacate a platted right‑of‑way that divides parcel 45.5218.000 and approved a lot split application from 100 Eagle Drive, LLC to create four residential parcels of 38,250 sq ft each; the applicant said he plans affordable single‑family homes.

The City of Sandstone Planning Commission on Feb. 11, 2026 voted unanimously to recommend the City Council vacate a platted right‑of‑way on Block 7 of Sandstone Townsite Company’s Third Addition (parcel 45.5218.000) and to approve a lot split application for that same parcel into four lots of 127.5 by 300 feet (38,250 square feet each).
