Students present clay-target program as administrators report staffing and enrollment

Administrators delivered routine monthly reports. Superintendent Lance Bagstad said the district conducted a Project 309 tour and plans a ribbon-cutting during homecoming week; he also noted All Staff Day is scheduled for Aug. 25, 2025. High-school Principal Jeff Johnson reported that high-school programming and schedules are being finalized, that teaching positions are fully staffed and that the district remains actively recruiting paraprofessionals. Principal Mike LeMeier reported continued hiring efforts and said the incoming kindergarten class is currently at 86 students for 2025–26.
The activities director reported that summer activities are wrapping up, that the fall sports meeting is scheduled for Aug. 4 and the first day of practice is Aug. 11, and said the activities handbook and student eligibility standards are being reviewed. Community education staff reported work on the fall brochure and school-readiness programming. Facilities staff described cleaning work at Century School, floor plans and door renumbering at the high school. Special education staff reported year-end wrap-up tasks and purchase-of-service work; the curriculum director said the 2025–26 brochure is ready and enrollment is open for grades 6–12.
No board action was required for these reports; they were presented for information and planning.
