Calhoun County board meets with Princess City Solar to discuss Comprehensive Plan amendment

Princess City Solar representatives Les Beck, Erin Rydgren and Elias Toshiro met with the Calhoun County Board of Supervisors on Nov. 25 to outline a proposed solar project and to discuss next steps for local land-use approval.

The company asked the Board to work with MIDAS regional planning so the county could consider an amendment to its Comprehensive Plan to allow the proposed solar installation. The Board heard the presentation but took no formal vote on zoning or tax incentives at the meeting.
