The Calhoun County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved the employment of Ben Smith to fill the vacancy of Calhoun County Attorney effective Dec. 16, 2025. The motion was made by Vice Chairman Cory Ridgely and seconded by Supervisor Scott Jacobs; the record states “ayes all.”
