Committee forms courthouse task force, authorizes purchase of 926 Columbia Ave
The Williamson County property committee approved a resolution continuing a courthouse development task force to advise on planning and construction and authorized the county mayor to purchase 926 Columbia Avenue (the Hill property); members discussed the PBA procurement role, adaptive reuse of the existing courthouse (estimated $500,000 to make the historic space usable), parking needs and financing, and directed staff to provide further cost and bond details.
