The Timnath Development Authority unanimously approved Resolution TDA01, Series 2026, transferring three remaining parcels of real property to the Town of Timnath.
Staff presented three deeds the authority holds and recommended quitclaim transfers to the town because the parcels have been maintained by the town and are no longer needed for TDA infrastructure. The properties described to the authority were 4850 Signal Tree Drive (lot 9, a 1.53-acre vacant parcel just south of the fire station), 4201 Main Street (a single-family residence), and a small parcel at the southeast corner of Whiteley and Harmony.
Board members asked whether additional TDA-owned parcels remain; staff said these three are the remaining parcels. Members noted the authority has a plan to wind down operations in 2029 and that transferring remaining parcels helps facilitate that process.
A motion to adopt the resolution was made and seconded; the vote was unanimous among the four members present, with Commissioner Dennis Dakota absent. The authority then adjourned.
The council later approved a duplicative transfer on its consent agenda (Resolution 40, Series 2026).
