The Oneida County Planning and Development Committee handled several routine and procedural items at its April 29, 2026 meeting, approving the agenda and past minutes, electing a vice chair and taking votes on permit timing and ordinance language.
Chair Scott Holewinski called the meeting to order and a motion by Billy Fried, seconded by Bob Almekinder, approved the agenda by unanimous vote. Members then approved the April 15 meeting minutes on a motion by Billy Fried, second by Bob Almekinder.
Nominations were made for Dan Hess as vice chair; the committee recorded unanimous support for the nomination. On a separate land-use matter the committee reviewed a Conditional Use Permit application for property described as 103 Elm Street LLC (Lot 1, CSM 3587; part of the SW SE, Section 2, T39N, R6E; PIN WR-18; Town of Woodruff). Karl Jennrich discussed details and a motion by Dan Hess, second by Bob Almekinder, extended the review time for that application by sixty (60) days; the motion carried with all members voting Aye.
The committee reviewed Section 9.77 (Off-Street Parking and Loading Space) after staff read responses from five towns to a staff memo. Motion by Billy Fried, second by Dan Hess, to leave Section 9.77 as written carried unanimously. A refund request for $344.00 was approved on a motion by Dan Hess, second by Bob Almekinder. The committee set future meeting dates for May 13 and May 27, 2026, and adjourned at 1:39 p.m.
The transcript does not include the text of the Conditional Use Permit application or the town responses beyond the fact they were read into the record; for those details the committee file is referenced in the minutes.
