Investment and HCI (Hospital Capital Improvement) fund details were also included: the Trustee reported $18.49 million in HCI funds (CDs, checking and interfund loans) as of June 30, 2025, and cited a return of approximately 4.15% for the 12 months ending June 2025. The Trustee described long-term CD investments and an updated banking contract that will pay 10 basis points over the federal funds rate through 2027.
The report summarized sales-tax distributions, in-lieu-of-tax receipts and a nineteen-year increase in interest income tied to the county's investment strategy.
