At the Jan. 13 meeting the Town Board approved two Article 7 tax-certiorari settlements resolving challenges to 2025 assessments.
For property identified as Tax Map No. 134889-6372-04-767017-0000 (petitioners Susan Kirchhoff and Alain Younes) the board approved a stipulated final judgment reducing the 2025 assessment from $560,500 to $515,000 (a reduction of $45,500). The resolution authorizes town officers and counsel to carry out the judgment and notes that tax refunds are waived for Town and Town special district taxes based on the original roll.
The board also approved a stipulated settlement for Tax Map No. 134889-6372-00-215250-0000 (petitioners Luke Sullivan and Jennifer R. Mumm) reducing the 2025 assessment from $2,185,100 to $1,965,000 (a reduction of $220,100). The packet shows that Rodenhausen Chale & Polidoro LLP represent the town and that Town Attorney Christine M. Chale participated via teleconference.
