At its May 26 meeting the Enumclaw City Council adopted Resolution No. 1879, which updates the city's fee schedule. Parks Director Alina Hibbs presented two Parks items included in the resolution: (1) a proposed two‑day‑a‑week swim‑team option for the Aquatic Center intended to provide a lower‑cost alternative to the existing three‑day program, and (2) adjustments to cemetery fees (infant lots, cremation garden lots and alcove mausoleum niches) to reflect inventory constraints and increased operations and maintenance costs. Parks staff recommended approval.
Planning/finance staff (Chris Vaseline) noted the fee resolution also implements an automatic April 1 adjustment for school impact fees; the staff presentation described a 3.1% increase tied to the CPI for Seattle/Tacoma/Bellevue area and said paperwork is being updated to reflect the April 1 automated change.
Council moved, seconded and adopted Resolution 1879 by voice vote. Separately, council approved the consent agenda, which included acceptance of the Gammon Street stormwater conveyance replacement project constructed by Don Higdon Construction as complete.
