"I was counsel for the city of Gloucester Board of Health... and I've worked on three site assignments," Durning said, asking the board to retain him in Shea's stead. Board members endorsed his experience and approved a motion to retain him; members noted Shea will remain available to consult.
The board also discussed timing and the importance of coordination once DEP issues a site-suitability report, which triggers statutory deadlines for site-assignment proceedings.
