The Ayer Finance Committee added a brief presentation on a regional battery-storage initiative to its July agenda after a committee member referenced a Select Board presentation. The project, described in the meeting packet as a Harvard-associated initiative called Keep the Lights On in Massachusetts, is exploring a regional battery array and related grant opportunities; participating towns include Ayer, Shirley and Bolton.
