Road Department reports overlay progress; crew training and equipment needs noted
Road Department staff told the Polk County Board work crews completed the first lift of an overlay on Osceola North and began the second lift; NIRMA safety training was held, grading and a culvert were completed on N Road, and staff identified the need for a new heater in the county shop.

Kendyl Morris updated the Polk County Board of County Commissioners on Nov. 18 about Road Department operations and ongoing projects for Highway Superintendent Theis. Morris reported the first lift of the overlay project on Osceola North is complete and the second lift was being laid the same day.
