Progress/value‑added data — the other 25% of the overall score — was not yet available and was marked NR (not reported).
The presenter said elementary MAP data placed all three elementary buildings in a high‑achievement/high‑growth quadrant and described district work tied to the ratings: rigorous, evidence‑based curricula, multi‑tiered systems of supports, early literacy interventions and career‑pathway expansions. “This is designed to give our parents, our communities and educators information about performance,” the presenter said, stressing that the report card is one piece of district data and that the fall value‑added figures could affect the final rating.
Board members asked whether recent state calculation changes could alter the district’s expectations; administration confirmed that component calculations have changed previously and that the progress component will be decisive once released in the fall. No formal action was required at the meeting; administration said a finalized presentation would follow after the state releases value‑added data.
