Carbon County approves Hyper Reach emergency-alert system after Code Red breach
The Carbon County Board of Commissioners on March 24 approved purchasing the Hyper Reach emergency-alert system to replace the decommissioned Code Red; DES Director Cyrina Allen and Sheriff Josh McQuillan agreed to share costs and staff will be trained on the system for evacuation alerts.
