Scott County commissioners approve appointments, invoices and routine items; public commenter asks for data-center moratorium
At its June 17 meeting the board appointed Steve Ford as transfer-station manager, approved invoices, payroll and minutes, authorized title signatures for sheriff vehicle sales, agreed to pay a cleaner for five hours and tabled a sheriff PTO buyback item. A public commenter urged a moratorium on data centers and raised TIF and YMCA concerns.
