Mayor breaks tie to approve Brad Day contract
The Demorest City Council approved a contract for Brad Day after Mayor Jerry Harkness cast a tie-breaking vote. The motion was moved by Councilman Shawn Allen and seconded by Councilman Donnie Bennett; Councilmen Jimmy Davis and Andrew Ferguson opposed the contract.
