Deschutes County approves rate increases for waste haulers, effective July 1
After a public hearing with no public comment, the Deschutes County Board of Commissioners approved board order 2026-024 raising residential curbside rates by 5% for franchise haulers and authorizing an approximately 11–12% increase for the county transfer operator; staff cited tip-fee increases, fuel and equipment costs.
