Carson, representing the design team, told the building committee that work toward the December construction‑document deadline is progressing and that the team resubmitted revised PNZ documents and is scheduled for a PNZ meeting the following Monday.
"We did formally submit our OSTA application," Carson said, reporting that the application was entered the afternoon before the meeting. The team also said it had addressed third‑party engineering review comments in revised drawings and would share responses with committee members.
Consultants reported an MEP coordination meeting had gone well and that systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) appeared to be on track. OMG said it received phase‑two demo and abatement documents on Nov. 10 and will prepare an estimate by early December to support the state PCR filing on Dec. 10.
The design team presented a tree health report supporting a required tree removal and confirmed a decision to use fixed storefront windows for improved security and envelope continuity after checking with John Manown. Committee members also noted the project’s increased flat‑roof area could facilitate a future solar installation and said current design choices are being made to allow solar to be added later.
Next steps include circulating the structural and code review proposals, finalizing estimates for demolition/abatement and proceeding toward the December schedule for construction documents and state reviews.
