Board Administrator Christina Ramirez provided an update on district water-quality testing at the Oct. 14 meeting, reporting that samples had been sent to Harvey Environmental Labs and that results are expected in three to four weeks. The item was presented as discussion only and no board action was taken.
Ramirez also noted that the district had closed for two days earlier in the term because of a water problem; she said attendance remains a priority and highlighted that 21 students achieved perfect attendance despite disruptions. The board will receive test results when laboratory analyses are complete and may place the item on a future agenda if follow-up action is needed.
