The Otis Library Building Committee met at the library meeting room in January and approved the minutes of the 12.3.25 session. Sue Brofman called the meeting to order at 5:40 p.m., and the session adjourned at 6:05 p.m.
Committee members reported that TSKP, together with committee members Stephanie Skinner and Brandi, submitted required project documents to the MBLC ahead of the stated deadline. The minutes state that the MBLC is reviewing those submissions and that, once the materials are approved, the project will move to the estimating phase.
Stephanie Skinner reported that the committee has been working with professional grant writers; multiple grant applications have been submitted or are currently in progress. Skinner emphasized that the committee intends to continue aggressively pursuing grants even if a favorable vote comes in May.
The committee said it will meet next week to regroup on outreach and next steps to keep the public informed. The minutes close with a note that the next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, February 18 at 5:30 p.m. and are signed, “Respectfully Submitted, Katelyn Chaffee, Secretary.”
