Story County Board adopts FY27 appropriation and interfund transfer authorizations
The board approved resolutions to uncommit $54,662 for conservation expenditures, appropriate 100% of the FY27 budget, and authorize interfund operating transfers to allow budgeted transfers during the year.

Lisa Markley explained three fiscal items to the Story County Board on June 30. First, staff requested uncommitment of $54,662 from a previously committed conservation fund balance to account for FY26 expenditures on R38 trail services and payments to Ryerson and Oshim; the remaining conservation fund balance going into FY27 was listed as $351,389. The board approved resolution 26‑105 to uncommit those funds.
