Finance Committee recommends warrant articles; Select Board backs recommendations but budget article remains unfinished

The Select Board met with the Finance Committee on March 31 to review the draft FY2027 town budget and the draft Annual Town Meeting warrant. Committee members and Board members discussed reallocating the Special Projects line into building maintenance and utilities, increasing funds for lawn mowing, adding two hours per week to the Building Maintenance Coordinator position, and reducing the legal-fees line in anticipation of slower litigation.
