Lagoon project nearing completion; engineer flags design issue and impending change order

The committee received an update on the village lagoon project and related sewer-line work.
Matt Lindsey said the Lagoon Project is wrapping up but that turbulence in wells is producing alarms; contractor Gasvoda was working to resolve the issue. Andrew Rudd told the committee there are design and construction issues with a sanitary sewer line behind the Journeyman property; staff plan to install a new manhole to enable sampling of that discharge and said a change order will be coming for the work.
Chair Faulkner thanked Lindsey and Fender for their efforts on the project. No formal vote occurred on the change order at the meeting; staff indicated they will bring the change order forward for committee consideration.
