Commission approves Sleepy Hollow Unit 2 final plat

Bob Isaac, Riley County planner, presented the Sleepy Hollow Subdivision Unit 2 replat application and explained the site history, riparian-buffer considerations and existing utilities. Staff reported that the Riley County Planning Board approved the concurrent final plat on May 11 and recommended the commission acknowledge the plat.
Isaac noted the site is zoned single-family residential, that previous variances reduced minimum tract size decades ago, and that the plat shows existing utility easements and access; no rezoning was requested. Commissioners moved, seconded and approved Resolution 052126 acknowledging the final plat and accepting the easements and rights-of-way as depicted.
